Visualizing Palestine 101 (VP101) is a data-led visual resource and educational hub designed for people learning and teaching about Palestine. At present it includes 25 original infographics and related data sets, an index of glossary definitions, and a selection of other engaging audiovisual content from around the web.
VP101 is specifically designed for sharing online and offline. The visuals are simple and flexible enough to be embedded on a slide or printed on an index card, as well as shared via social media and email.
The platform is optimized for self-led learning. Content is interconnected, allowing users to find their way between infographics, glossary definitions, audiovisuals and further reading.
THEORY OF CHANGE
Since 2012, Visualizing Palestine has produced data-driven visual stories for social justice. Like our other projects, VP101 aims to use visual storytelling to bring meaning to hard facts and data on what is happening in Palestine/Israel and how it fits into a global context.
We hope that our projects also help people to understand the interconnected nature of injustices in Palestine and around the world, and will inspire people to reflect on how each of us can contribute in our own way to the universal struggle for freedom, justice and equality.
