A 1917 letter written by British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour expressing the British government’s support for the Zionist movement and “the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people”.[1] In 1922, the goals of the Balfour Declaration into the League of Nations text of the British Mandate for Palestine.[2]
